This study evaluated modern NLS technologies for detecting and differentiating pancreatic masses, including pancreatic cancer, pseudotumorous pancreatitis, and pancreatic cysts. Advanced methods such as 3D NLS imaging, ultramicroscanning, angiography, and Spectral-Entropic Analysis (SEA) improved visualization of tumors, cystic structures, blood vessel involvement, and tissue characteristics. The researchers reported high diagnostic accuracy, particularly in distinguishing pancreatic cancer from inflammatory conditions. SEA findings were confirmed by biopsy results in most cases. The authors concluded that modern NLS technologies may provide valuable non-invasive information for diagnosis, surgical planning, and assessment of pancreatic lesions.
