This study evaluated the use of integrated NLS diagnostics for monitoring right-lobe liver transplants from living related donors. Researchers followed 70 transplant recipients and used NLS imaging to assess liver tissue, blood vessels, and bile ducts during the post-transplant period. The method helped identify complications such as biliary abnormalities, vascular stenosis, thrombosis, abscess formation, and transplant dysfunction. NLS combined with Spectral-Entropic Analysis (SEA) showed high agreement with clinical, laboratory, and biopsy findings. The authors concluded that integrated NLS may be a useful non-invasive tool for long-term monitoring of liver transplant health and for the early detection of post-transplant complications.
