This study evaluates the effectiveness of three-dimensional NLS-graphy in diagnosing chronic pseudo-tumor pancreatitis and distinguishing it from pancreatic cancer.
Researchers analyzed clinical data from patients with hepatopancreatobiliary disorders and compared two-dimensional NLS, three-dimensional NLS, and CT imaging techniques.
The results showed that three-dimensional NLS provided enhanced visualization of pancreatic structures, vascular changes, and tissue abnormalities that may not be clearly detected with conventional imaging.
The method was particularly useful for identifying inflammatory masses, fibrosis, calcification, and bile duct compression associated with chronic pancreatitis.
Advanced features such as spectral-entropic analysis and 3D reconstruction improved diagnostic accuracy and supported differential diagnosis from malignant tumors.
The authors concluded that three-dimensional NLS-graphy is a valuable non-invasive tool that can significantly improve the diagnosis and assessment of chronic pseudo-tumor pancreatitis.
