This article explores the role of Non-Linear Scanning (NLS) technologies in the evaluation and monitoring of various skin diseases. Modern NLS systems enable detailed visualization of skin layers, including the epidermis, dermis, and subcutaneous tissue, with cellular-level resolution. The method has shown value in assessing inflammatory disorders such as psoriasis and scleroderma, as well as skin tumors including melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, and benign nevi. Three-dimensional NLS imaging combined with spectral-entropic analysis improves the differentiation of benign and malignant lesions and helps estimate tumor invasion depth. The technology also supports treatment monitoring by tracking structural changes in diseased skin over time. As a non-invasive diagnostic approach, NLS imaging offers enhanced accuracy, earlier detection, and improved evaluation of treatment effectiveness across a wide range of dermatological conditions.
